By clicking 'issue tickets' while working in 'Customers', you'll get the Cashier functionality. By using the cashier, you are able to assign or sell tickets to a visitor yourself (in real time).
Step 1: Selecting tickets
Once you have opened the cash register functionality, you can select the tickets you want to sell. You can select tickets from different shops* and pools. You can also apply filters, to show only available tickets for example.
*You can only sell from one shop per order. This is because each order can only be deducted from within one shop. If you select tickets from one shop, the rest will no longer be available.
Once you click 'add', the screen below opens. Here, you choose where you want to sell the tickets from; from the general pool availability or from a blocked category. It is only possible to choose tickets from one shop. The price of the ticket is displayed and can be adjusted if desired. It can be useful to add a note, for example, when the reason for the assigned ticket is needed.
Once you have chosen the correct quantities and the price is correct, you can add these tickets to the selection. By clicking 'Add to cart', you place the tickets in your shopping cart.
The cash register responds in real-time, so as soon as you make a selection and it is in the shopping cart, the quantities in the shops are adjusted. This way it can never happen that you have tickets in this shopping cart that are being bought online at the same time.
The tickets are now in your shopping cart. You can add more tickets or continue by clicking 'Next'.
Step 2: Issuing tickets
On this page, you indicate how the payment was made, how and to who you want to issue the tickets.
Payment
You arrange the payment outside the system, so make sure the customer pays before completing the order. For administrative purposes, you choose how the payment has been made. You have four options:
- Cash
- Pin
- Digital (for example, a payment link that was sent earlier)
- Other (for example, on invoice)
Digital delivery
If digital delivery is desired, a phone number is required to proceed. If the customer is already known within the system, the data will be auto-filled after entering the mobile number. You can choose to send the customer a notification of the tickets via SMS and/or email.
In the case of door sales, you can choose 'no'. You do not need any customer data to proceed, and the customer will not receive the tickets in his/her app.
Check the order
If you have filled in everything under step 2 and click on 'complete order', an overview page of you selection will follow. Here you can check once again whether you have entered the right tickets, the payment method and data. If this is all correct, click on "create order".
The order is created
The order with the corresponding order number has been created.
You can perform various ticket actions via 'Batch action', such as checking in the issued tickets right away. If you want more information about the order, you can open it by clicking on the order number.
If you want to start another order, click on 'issue more tickets'.
