Every NFT Ticket can come equipped with artwork which is displayed in a way that turns your NFT Ticket into a form of digital collectible post-event.
When an attendee claims their NFT, they will be able to see this artwork both in their NFT wallet & also on decentralised marketplaces such as OpenSea.
Collectibles can also be opportunities to incorporate event partners & sponsors to create sponsored collectibles that open up a new revenue avenue for your event.
At the same time, bring a bit of event culture into your collectible design & even update collectible artwork post-event to display actual event moments & highlights.
Setting Collectible Artwork
Collectible Artwork is set in two different ways. To begin with, head into your event’s dashboard & navigate to the blockchain tab by again visiting:
- The Manage Tab on the Top Navigation Bar
- Click on the ‘Blockchain’ Tab
Here you will see an ‘NFT Artwork’ section which allows you to upload NFT Artwork.
Recommended design specifications are: 1600x2240px & .png or .jpg
This artwork section allows you to set Collectible Artwork that will be utilised by default for all NFT Tickets sold for your event.
This option is good as a blanket coverage for all ticket’s artwork, but what if you’d like to set artwork for specific types of tickets?
That’s where our NFT Ticket Artwork Per Ticket Type feature comes into play. To set this, you’ll need to navigate to the shop section of the dashboard by:
- Clicking on the ‘Shops’ tab on the top bar
- Choose the Ticket Type that you’d like to set custom artwork for
If you navigate into a certain ticket type, you’ll see an option for ‘NFT Artwork’
Here you can set the artwork for that ticket type. Every ticket of this type that gets sold will then have this artwork by default.
Important Note - Updating Artwork for already created NFTs
You can update artwork for already purchased & issued tickets by checking the option on the left hand side of this area: ‘Update art for NFT’s already minted’.
By having this option selected and by pressing ‘Apply’ each NFT whether the general artwork or per ticket type, will be updated.
Updating Artwork for Already Issued Tickets - Evolving Collectibles
With the feature of being able to update already issued ticket artwork, this presents a great opportunity to create collectibles that feature highlight moments from an event, scores from a game, attendee collaborative artwork or ideas and more.
For sports games, a collectible can go from a digital card back displaying a logo & date & time, to a collectible that shows a highlight play from a game, the game score, a win or loss indicator & other cool features:
Use footage from an event to update collectibles & put real sentimental moments in the hands of every fan that attended the event:
