First, you have to download our Ticket Scanner app. You can read here how to login.
Scanning the QR code
You need your camera to scan. You can keep the camera on. This is useful when it is very busy and you continuously have to scan. You can also use the quick scan button. This saves battery life.
When the camera is on, you point the camera towards the smartphone of the visitor, when they present their QR-code.
If the QR-code is scanned, you will see the following information:
- Name of the visitor
- Rank
- Section (hall / balcony / 1e balcony etc.)
- Entrance of the hall to access the right seat
- Number of tickets
Choose the amount of tickets you want to scan (with the + and - button). Please note that the whole order is selected by default. If the number is correct, click “Check in”. Is there any reason you don’t want to check in someone, simply click the cross in the upper right corner.
Scanning with a scan-profile
If you are scanning with a scan-profile (read here how to set up) the scanner app will filter and only show tickets that use the specified pools. You can always choose to view and the whole order, and even check the tickets in if needed:
Most frequent errors
No internet connection: There is no connection to the internet. Try to reconnect to the WIFI.
Invalid QR: The scanned QR can not be recognised as a valid ticket. Double check if the visitor has a working internet connection.
Expired code: The QR code is expired. Since our QR code is rotating, the system is recognising an old QR. The visitor could have made a print screen or printed version. Ask them to show the real ticket in their ticket wallet.
Tampered code: The scanned QR code does not exist in the GUTS database. This could be a fake ticket or the visitor is showing a ticket from a different organisation.
Already Executed: The code is already scanned. This is most common when people joined a "group".
